While living under siege, the Trojan Queen Hecuba entrusts her youngest son Polydorus to her neighbour and ally Polymestor. When the city falls, her family is torn apart. Her daughter Polyxena defiantly sacrifices herself before she can be killed by the victorious Greeks, whilst her son is offered as a blood sacrifice to the dark god Moloch by Polymestor. Devastated by Polymestor’s betrayal, Hecuba gathers her women and takes her revenge.
